This project was difficult but rewarding. This modern home looks like it was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The house jettisons out over the hill, appearing as if it will fall into space. The landscaping on the hillside served practical and aesthetic purposes. Practically, the hill needed to control for erosion. This made it necessary to include enough plantings to hold the soil and mulch to the hillside. The landscaping also needed to almost taper up to to house, so it would simultaneously not overwhelm the appearance of the house and also not shrink into the background.
